I am a 25 year old Black and Cuban woman who is newly single. I am very very new to dating, especially online and have heard great outcomes so decided to give it a try. I am semi new to the LA area and my schedule is demanding so it is hard for me to get out and explore the place in which I live. I love taking pictures and try to bring my camera everywhere with me. I find beauty in nature [flowers, sunsets, animals, plants]. I am taking photography classes and hope to start something on the side in the near future. I am also very into graphic design and love making flyers, business cards, and magazine ads for my friend's company. My goal for the future is to just be happy and successful. One day I would love to see my work on a billboard somewhere. Dont have time to go back to school right now for Graphic Design so have been self-teaching myself as much as possible. I do have a BA in Psychology though so I am analytical and would say I'm good at giving advice. At least my friend's seem to think so.

Although I can be shy at first sometimes, I am a HUGE goofball. SO it is very important to find someone that has a humor like mine. I love laughing and making people laugh. I can be pretty sarcastic so you have to be able to take it. I pride myself on the fact that I am not a B**** and can honestly say I do not have any enemies. I am very friendly and accepting and love to meet new people. I value friendship and I keep in touch with everyone, even its just a call once a year on their birthday. I remember everyone's birthday!

I am not like most girls in the fact that although I do care about fashion and looks, I do not let it define me. Definitely not materialistic and you'll hardly ever see me wearing labels. Unless it was a gift. So if you're looking for a trophy girl that's not me. I definitely relate more to guys OR other girls that relate more to guys. :) Music is my life. I love to listen to everything although R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop are my main. I love being outside whether its the beach, hiking, taking a road trip, or eating at different places ;)I played soccer for 11 years so I am an active person and love sports. I prefer going to an event over watching it on TV though. I am from the bay area so I will always represent my bay area teams but living in LA has made me appreciate the Dodgers and Lakers as well. I have done a good share of the club scene and I admit I like going out and being social but I love staying home and watching movies too. Thanks to netflix I've seen quite a few. I am very opionated and outspoken so dont get into a debated conversation with me unless you can hold your own. :) This just means I am passionate in what I believe. I am VERY openminded though and love it when people can challenge my views, respectfully, and teach me something. In other words I LOOOVE being intellectually stimulated. I care about the world and making it a better place and truely believe in peace. I want to find someone who compliments me [compliment meaning balances me out] and teaches me to be a better person and can handle all I have to offer. And you have to be nice to strangers... i found that if you are mean to strangers sooner or later you will be mean to me. no jerks allowed.

I dont like the idea of eating on a first date anymore. Have to worry about what you look like eating or if you have food in your teeth. lol. I think just somewhere public where you can get a chance to talk and socialize.
