I'm just a guy that wants to meet new people and hopefully someone special along the way. I'll be honest I'm looking for a long term relationship eventually but I'm not afraid to date, hang out and just get to know people. I think the more people you meet the more you grow as a person- just so long as you are open to actually listening to what someone has to say. I'd like to meet someone that is supportive when needed and funny at the right time. I like to laugh at life but understand when it's time to... just be there and listen. I like "thank you's" and welcoming smiles. I want to meet someone that looks for adventure and isn't afraid to try something new and laugh while learning.

I want to meet someone that understands that not everybody is perfect but someone that wants to help the both of us be our best. Someone that closes her eyes when given a hug, walks close on a slow walk, laughs yet appreciates what I mean when I say something tragically cliché like that. If she understands that sometimes guys have to be guys, and can let that happen that would be a great start. Someone that stops and notices when things are really going well. And we both celebrate that. Someone who isn't afraid to express themselves and go after what they want in life.

I'd like to think that my friends and family were asked about me they would say that I'm a pretty good guy. My friends and family are important to me and it means a lot to me that the person I meet is comfortable with them as well. A couple needs to enjoy the people in their lives. Our friends are a reflection of our interests and our values.

I like to hold the door, compliment her on the less obvious, and hope that isn't considered too old school or demeaning. I want to meet someone that, together we complement each other - The sum of the parts being greater than the whole.

So if all that sounds good then this is a little bit more about me…. I am a hobby junkie and will try just about anything -except I won't eat olives and you can't make me do it. Seriously people those things are gross. I'm really into seeing live music even when it's bad it's kind of good...usually. But I'm also a big fan of watching a movie on the couch with a glass of wine or a dark beer and not getting up when it's over because she fits there with me just right and I don't want to move.

Physical appearance is fairly important to me. Let’s be honest physical attraction is part of it all. I like when women make an effort on their appearance, but at the same time I like a girl that isn’t afraid to go out and get dirty. I hope that doesn’t make me sound shallow or anything, I just want to be honest.

I also want to add that I’m not looking for a pen pal or a new facebook friend. I joined match to meet new people – in person. SO let’s go do something fun and get to know each other. Isn’t that why you are reading this in the first place? Don’t get me wrong I definitely want to chat and email before meeting up but at the same time let’s get out and have a good time figuring out if we are a match.

Hmmm I guess it depends on what the other person is into. I know what I don't want to have happen, and that is to sit staring at each other struggling to find something to talk about so guess what??? We are going to find something fun to do, so at the very least we can laugh and talk about that. Does that seem ok? I hope so because then after we can take a walk, or jump into a coffee shop or bar and find out all kinds of interesting things about each other
