I'm a pretty laid back and simple guy. I was born and raised in a small town in England named Soham (hence the user name). I get homesick every now and then. I don't take anything seriously, especially myself. I never fail to completely embarrass myself, but I like it that way. You'll have a hard time taking the smile off my face. I like to think I have great humor and i'm fairly sarcastic as well. My nephew is my best friend. I currently work as a CNA, and eventually I'll move on to be an LPN, then an RN. I don't have the greatest social life, so I watch a lot of movies and have a decent sized DVD collection. I'm a huge, huge movie dork. Some people are blessed with knowledge of politics, sciences, or math. I'm blessed with an insane knowledge of all things relating to films. They're pretty much my escape. I enjoy helping people, and making people laugh and smile. I strive for others to be happy. Sometimes to the point where I may end up unhappy. I think that's why I've chosen the nursing field as my career. I'm not having a good day until everyone else around me are having good days. I've been single for almost a year now, and I have to admit that I really hate it. I'm not meant to be just by myself. I wish I had a girlfriend. I'm certainly looking for something serious and long term, but something fun and lighthearted. Age, skin color, and anyone with children doesn't bother me. I'd love to make a connection with someone out there. I guess you could say I'm looking for my best friend as well as my partner. Well, like I said, I really enjoy movies. So maybe dinner and a movie, with me paying of course. I try to keep up with chivalry as much as I can. If that's too much maybe just going out to get a coffee, taking a nice walk, just relaxing somewhere, some miniature golf, star watching or something small like that. I can be both formal or I can be relaxed. I prefer to be relaxed.
