I enjoy the outdoors, hiking/backpacking. I am an avid reader, with tastes ranging from sci fi to philosophy... (favorite author: Umberto Eco) I also enjoy writing and currently working on my first novel. I hope to finish my novel soon and of course, I hope for that to succeed.
I would very much like to find the one person who truly understands me and can relate to my sometimes quirky personality, someone to grow and form an unshakable bond with. Si Tu Te Atreves!

I look a bit like a biker with my bald head and tattoo sleeved arms but don't let that put you off, look closely at them if and when we meet; perhaps you'll get a feel for who I really am, you might well be surprised what you find there. Don't fret, you can dress me up and take me out. I am a gentlemen, and have manners to spare. I can be, and am many things, but most important of all... Genuine.

My tastes in music can be described as eclectic: ranging from Jazz(Charlie Parker) to classical(Vivaldi) World music from artists such as(Luis Miguel) to more modern alternative (Silversun Pickups, The Strokes, Keane) and perhaps some that do not seem to conform to a specific genre Like(Band of Horses)

I am among other things, a Seeker; knowledge, kindred spirits, new places and new ideas... That said I can be guarded at times, quiet and reserved. This whole web site thing is really not me at all but I am pleasantly surprised to find a few individuals that seem to understand who I am, on the surface at least.

A bit of an update; Since joining this site I've made some new friends and I'm very excited about that. What troubles me are all the woman who have added to their profiles the need to let men know they are not looking for sex on the first few dates, so I feel it's important to put this right out there; I am NOT one of those guys... point and fact, that's not what I'm here for and if you are... well keep moving.

Simple as it may be; I find sitting down with someone to share a meal or even a coffee, just a chance to talk and get acquainted one on one.
