I'm a 22 year old college graduate. I attended a state university and received a degree in Information Systems. I'm 6'2" 180lbs and I have a wide array of hobbies.

That's right, I used the word array. (See, right here is where I'm trying to think of a way to make a vector versus array joke for the people who'd understand. However, I have decided to refrain from that joke. Please note the irony involved in all of this regardless of your understanding of vectors versus arrays.)

My sense of humor is often off-beat and I can be kind of goofy. Though, I'm serious when it's needed. I like laughing and would prefer to just have a good time and see the positive side of things regardless of how it's going. I would probably describe myself as boring but my friends disagree. The only logical explanation would be that I have lame friends. This is where the Internet comes in to help me.

I strongly want to stay out of any trouble of excess drama. I don't feel that either is necessary to have a good time. I try very hard to be an honest person and I really enjoy the company of good people. Laid-back is my attempted theory on life. (Though, I'm not perfect.) I like to surround myself with "good" people. My heart has a soft-spot for the altruistic kind who can see the bigger picture.

I enjoy the gym but that doesn't mean I'm good at it. An honest effort goes in but I'm always going to be an outdoorsy computer nerd. Camping, hiking, and movies are all solid ways to get my attention.

I'm not here to get laid quick or anything along those lines; I'm just trying to make some friends (maybe good friends?).

Socially, I fall into the liberal sector. Financially, I prefer a more conservative approach. This roughly equates to a Libertarian. I work at a lenient part time job now while I interview for a more permanent career.

After typing all of this out, I'm not even sure if I like this whole concept. Owell, we'll give it a shot.

...oh, and I want to be an astronaut. (Remember the irony/sarcastic bit I've been including throughout this profile? Yup, that's it again.)

Disclaimer: I don't like the stigma that comes from the word "date." I think it would be better to just get to know someone and become their friend. If there is potential after that is really something you can't plan for. But for any friends...

Obviously, since this whole thing revolves around the Internet, something in public would be the wisest idea. The first part would involve thinking of ways to cover-up the fact that we met online. (That's kind of a lame joke.)

I wouldn't mind going to see a movie, bowling, or getting some food. I would prefer a chance to actually talk so we could learn more about each other. If you can maintain a conversation or stay a little bit interested, you can always make more plans after that.

...wait, I mean...a long walk on a beach. ...generic fail? And cuddling with kittens!

I'm probably not selling myself by being myself but this all made me laugh!
