I am an old-fashioned Christian man that is looking for a lady that is not going to try and change me.
We all say that we want this and that; yet when we have the chance to get it all we think about is how we can change it or control it. I know that anyone that I were to meet here has a life outside of what goes on here. I would not expect her to drop everything for me; yet occasionally rearrange our time so that we can be together.
For me any relation that were to come from here will take time.
I can say that I have been fortunate in the relationships that I have had (we are all still friends) but still have not found the love that I know is out there for me. My grandfather once told me that you may have anyone with guile or persuasion; but never their love. I now see how true he was for I have had both used against me with no success but alot of pain and truth. That does not mean that I am a special catch or better then the others that are here just different.
We have all been hurt and had bad relationships. It's what defines us and makes us wiser. To dwell on the hurt or bring it into a new relationship is the reason most of us are stuck from one bad relationship to another.
I was divorced in 1999 and chose not to date until now so that I could define who and what I am.
I am looking for someone that has moved on from the drama and games of childhood and is truly ready to search for the person that can make them happy.
I am also old-fashioned in the sense that I like to open doors for ladies, hold their hand while walking down the street, and pull out a chair so that she sits before the man.... I take it you get the meaning.
Family is always important and foremost in my life ( I get my nieces and nephews in the summer). If that is a problem then please move on instead of wasting both our time.

I was confused when I heard the word 'service' used with these agencies.

Internal Revenue ' Service '
U.S. Postal ' Service '
Telephone ' Service '
Cable TV ' Service '
Civil ' Service '
State, City, County & Public ' Service '
Customer ' Service '

This is not what I thought 'service' meant.


But today, I overheard two farmers talking,
and one of them said he had hired a bull to
'service' a few cows.

BAM!!! It all came into focus.
Now I understand what all those
agencies are doing to us.

Now you are as enlightened as I am.
