About Me
Opposites attract hasn't really been working out that well, so let's the try the opposite, or rather the same: I'd like to try dating me for a change, or some approximation thereof. I'm low strung, low maintenance, funny, literate, into word play, into music play (play various instruments in various bands), into game play (Scrabble, ultimate frisbee), especially group social games, into DIY art and performance, into Charlie Kaufman movies, into Jonathan Richman, into Arrested Development, into Firefly, into Proust, Steven Pinker, David Foster Wallace (RIP), into goofy fun. My idea of a good time is the Oregon Country Fair. If I sound like you, let's have a beer.
First Date
I'd keep a first date short: coffee or a beer. It's nice to meet up and get a sense of whether you're going to get along before investing a lot of time.
