I moved here to Quebec City from Nova Scotia about five years ago, to pursue a career in video games and, in large part, to face the challenge of moving to a city where I didn't speak the primary local language. I am very interested in languages and Japanese in particular; I know only a few words of Japanese and can read a bit of Hiragana, but I am keen to learn more.

I am a gentle and kind guy, who is, admittedly, a bit shy, but I think in a lovable way. :P I have a good sense of humor and really enjoy making people laugh and feel good.

I love to explore the outdoors and am an avid stargazer.
I am also an avid traveler. I spent 6 weeks in Japan this year and am eager to return or to explore another part of the world in the near future.

Once winter arrives, it might be nice to play in the snow. We could go sledding, make a snow man, and then find a warm cafe for some hot chocolate. It's nice feeling like a kid again from time to time. Sharing it with a fun girl makes it all the more memorable.

Otherwise, I would take a date to a nice restaurant or cafe; some place fairly quiet, where we could talk and laugh and generally have a good time getting to know each other. I would follow it up with a relaxing walk through a scenic area of Quebec City, showing her one of my favourite parts of the city.
