About Me
What can I say about my interests other than: "Variety is the spice of life”. Reading, conversation, movies, walking, visiting family, horseback riding, travel, music, and many more things interest me, at least for a time. I believe Profiles are difficult to word, especially when you’re trying to put your best foot forward. I like life to be simple with some spontaneity mixed in here and there. Also, touching and shows of affection are high on my list. About my children: I still have one child at home whom, I believe to be is an exceptional kid (of course). He's 13 and in the 7th grade, so he is an important part of my life right now. I have 3 other grown children (ages 32 down to 21) and 5 grandkids. My 2 oldest live a bit far from me but we try to stay in touch. As far as what I'm looking for in a man, it’d be nice to find someone who has experienced life, it's disappointments as well as achievements. Open mindedness is great. I'm more settled now than I was in my younger days when I'd jump my horse over anything I could find. So, extreme sports would be a watch only thing for me now. I'll watch as you try to kill yourself. LOL! Animals, especially horses and dogs have always been a delight to have in my life. I have been blessed to have many great ones to remember. It would be a pleasure to learn to line dance, shag and maybe even belly dance. My father loved music, so we heard a lot of different types and styles of music as my brothers, sisters and I grew up. Again, variety is nice. Celtic music is a personal favorite of mine, but other musicians are just as enjoyable to listen or dance to. Life should be lived to the fullest. It is such a fragile and short term thing. As we age, hopefully we mature. It would be lovely to have a companion to grow and have adventures together. My special someone will enjoy conversations, quiet times, and closeness. Being a rich, great looking guy is not at the top of my list, though I wouldn't throw him out if everything else was great. LOL! It is important that he have a generous heart full of love to give. I'm not financially rich. I guess I just lost a few readers. Oh well! Seriously though, I gave up a career to be with my kids. They are spread out: 32 - 13. So I've not been in a typical work environment for years. I did teach Learning Disabilities for a few years, successfully owned and operated a Show/Breeding kennel, train horses, do some art work, and hope to get into some other fun things and experiment with new ideas. If anything you've read sounds interesting, don't wait, click that email button up there and send over your invitation to connect so we can get started on the Best Years of Our Lives. If not I thank you for reading this rather long profile, and I wish you the very best in finding your soul mate. PS: Please forgive any grammatical errors. English was never my best subject.
