I read, I cook, I travel, I love good story-telling, I eat and drink. On occasion, I'm known to dance, play bocce, hike, rock-climb. As women go, I'm fairly tall. Also, natural blond. Otherwise, I'd call myself bright, curious, open-minded, sympathetic, laughter-loving with a tendency toward sarcasm on occasion.

I hope to continue exploring--the city, the world, the wines, the non-fiction, the interesting people. Please hear that in the least cheesy-sounding voice possible.

Books: Blue Latitudes, White Noise, Friday Night Lights, everything by Joan Didion, Under the Banner of Heaven, The Orchid Thief, Wings of the Dove, 100 Years of Solitude, Positively Fifth street, Lonesome Dove, Giant...

Music: A bit of indie (Blind Pilot, Band of Horses, Dengue Fever), some standard hiphop (Ludacris, Dre, Snoop) and country (some of which is great, so put your snobbery aside).

TV: I don't own a TV, but appreciate the greatness of The Wire, Deadwood, Psych, and Mad Men.

I'm looking for someone intelligent, entertaining, enthusiastic, considerate, and aware of what's going on in the world. I won't respond to anyone with a shirtless photo. I'm just saying.
