About me. I absolutely enjoy a good bike ride. I am not particular as to the surface I am riding on. Mountain biking and road biking are equally enjoyable and present their own unique challenges. I really enjoy sports. I like to play just about any sport but certainly have not mastered any. I like going to new places. Trying new restaurants is one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy cooking and want to take a cooking class to improve on culinary skills. I enjoy spending time on, in or near water. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is pulling my kids behind a pontoon with country music playing in the background. I love the beach and someday want to travel to Australia and dive the Great Barrier Reef.

I am in the final stages of a divorce. I have two children whom I cherish and are the center of my life. They live with me part of the time. I am looking for someone to do fun things with, develop a friendship, and see where it goes from there.

I value honesty, integrity and morality. If you can't be honest, you can't be true to yourself. If you can't be true to yourself, you can't be true to your relationship. I am a person who holds true to his word. If I say I am going to do something, I do it. I treat others as I want to be treated. I am shy until you get to know me. I tend to have traditional values and beliefs but am open to new ideas and philosophies. My grandfather taught me how a lady should be treated and I strive to continue this heritage. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Family is important to me.

I enjoy nearly every kind of music. Some more than others. I enjoy modern jazz, blues, hard rock, heavy metal, country and classical. There is still nothing like a good 80's hairband to get me moving (lol).

On my first date, I would treat my date to dinner. I would choose an eating establishment that is quiet with a romantic atmosphere. I would choose this type of venue so that external distractions are minimized. I would be polite, open doors and pull my dates chair away from the table; as any gentlman should. I would order a bottle of fine wine to share as we immerse ourselves in conversation. I would look into my dates eyes and listen to her intently. Exploring her personality to gain a better understanding of who she is. After dinner plans would be left open with several possibilities based upon the chemistry shared during dinner.
