I'm out and proud! I am pretty easy going most of the time, but I do have strong opinions and I’m always ready to explain and defend them.

I have two daughters. One is 21 and lives in Smiths Falls Ontario. The other is 15 and lives with my ex wife.

I grew up with very conservative parents, but I’m not.I sometimes find myself lonely so I am looking for friends, and we’ll see what happens from there.I am far from a “Girly Girl”. I have a deep voice, and don’t usually ware make-up.

I am a strong believer in freedom of religion, but am not religious. I welcome different perspectives. I think God is like a mountain. No matter where you stand you will see the same mountain, even if you give it a different name. If you describe what you see, it will never be exactly the same as someone standing in a different place.

I am a strong believer in freedom FROM religion. No one has the right to force others to follow their beliefs, especially if they don’t share those beliefs.

We might meet in a coffee shop, or just walk and talk. I think talking is extremely important to building a friendship, and friendship is the first step if you want more.

I enjoy movies, but I can’t guarantee you will see the whole thing! I like quiet places and all types of music. I am not a drinker and would feel uncomfortable in the dance clubs and bars.

I don’t believe in rushing things, but just letting them progress at their own pace. I love all kinds of animals from dogs to horses, so we might walk my/our dogs or just take a walk in the woods alone. If you have horses we might ride a trail together (I’m a little rusty, but I have ridden, and been dumped, many times.)
