You and I know that we must be honest in this make believe world because only then will we recognize each other. We will put our real ages, accurate photos, and we will write words that are true.

We don’t have unrealistic expectations. Even though we have gone through divorce, we know that a deeply loving relationship is possible at this stage in life. We are willing to take a chance even though we have experienced hurt in the past.

We are both independent yet we acknowledge the need for an intimate connection emotionally, physically, and spiritually with another like minded person. While we can live without this person we choose not to, even though there will be challenges. We know we will be stronger for it. Together we will grow and be fulfilled through the sharing of what is most valuable in life, a deep satisfying bond between two souls.

I don’t care what you look like, only how you make me feel when I look at you. You don’t care how much or little money I have, only that I am financially ethical.
I don’t care where you have traveled, only how you have lived. You don’t care whether I am worldly or not, only that my inner world is full.
I don’t care what your education is, only that you are smart enough to know what is real. You don’t care what position I hold, only that I find enjoyment in helping those in need.
I don’t care how refined you are, only that you can touch my heart with your truth. You don’t care where I live, only that I am alive.

Separate we are each imperfect but together we shine. Alone we are each not the most ambitious but together we achieve beyond our dreams. We are each happy but together our best selves bring light into the darkness. We are not the same, line by line but together we make up for what lacks in the other.

When I feel hurt and angry you are always here to comfort me.
When you feel scared you know my strength of heart and body is always here for you.
You know some times I am serious. You know most times I am silly. You love that I express who I am.
You will share with me your soul’s desires. And I know the importance of taking the time to listen…deeply.

I hear your whispering. Your heart is ready to surrender to mine and mine to yours. When your fears come into the open I will not run. I will allow your breath to wholly enter into me. And then, your fears will be revealed as illusion.

Remember, sometimes serious, most times silly.
