I'm over trying to meet girls at the bar (because that works so well) and I'm done dating just to date, there has to be more than just good times. I have a great job that I love and too many hobbies without enough time to do them all. I have a great group of friends but most are getting married and dropping like flies (socially speaking) so I need to meet people! I spend a lot of time skiing and snowboarding in the winter and do a lot of boating and wakeboarding in the summer. I also enjoy going on hikes, biking, rock climbing and generally anything outside and any excuse to go camping. I like going to concerts and music festivals, especially local music festivals and like a wide variety of music, pretty much anything except country....but there's some great bluegrass out there! What I listen to varies greatly from day to day, month to month etc. I tend to get sick of music quickly so end up listening to a lot of different stuff. I like cooking and tend to have friends and my sister/niece/nephew over for dinner quite a bit. Travel is very important to me, I try to leave the country for at least 2 weeks every year and do a lot of weekend trips, road trips and anything else to mix up life in Denver.

I guess I would consider myself a nice guy judging from most of the other guys I know (you know, the guy that every girl says she wants but ends up not being interested in), and I'm definitely more considerate and respectful of women than most guys I know. I know a lot of girls think guys are jerks but no offense, a lot of woman are attracted to those jerks. If you're that girl then I'm not the guy you want to meet. I seem to be able to make most people laugh, although my humor can be quite silly and sarcastic at times so if you don't understand sarcasm you're going to be really confused. :)

I'm looking for someone that's willing to try new things and to enjoy life with in general. Someone to go on trips with, skiing with, boating with, share day to day experiences with, cook dinner for, go out with or just stay home and relax with. Someone that has a positive outlook on life, is reasonable (doesn't get excited about the unimportant things in life), intelligent and capable of holding a conversation, financially responsible and stable, supportive, and active. Willingness and the ability to travel is very important. If you speak Spanish that's a huge bonus because I don't speak a lick. :) I need someone that is confident, outgoing and not afraid to be herself! If you can't be alone and always need a guy to make you happy you'll never be happy and I can't change that!

This seems like a good way to meet people but you really know what you're getting until you meet the person. Meeting for a drink is a low pressure way of meeting someone for the first time. No matter how bad it is most of us can last through at least one drink before making a gracious exit.
