Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! Finally in New York, just moved here a month ago. I’m from Texas, and landed a great job… which led me here. I’m hoping to find a special lady that is attractive, physically fit, nice, sweet, down to earth, smart, laid back, adventurous, feisty, funny, genuine… (I think you get the picture!) to show me around NYC and have some fun. Friends first is a must—but ultimately, I’m hoping that the “friends first” moves on to long term.
So, I’m a single white guy (see picture). I’m thin, but very fit. No kiddos, never married. I have a military background (Marine) and have spent much of the last 7 or 8 years overseas. My time overseas definitely made me realize what was important in life.
I would describe my personal style as laid back, clean cut, polished. I have pretty fair (come on-I’m a guy) fashion sense, and think that I dress well. I tie a perfect tie every time. I’m well mannered and intelligent. I will be on time, and I will call when I say I that I will. I respect other people’s time and feelings, and expect the same in return. I’m definitely more of a hands-on type of person. Most jobs and endeavors that I’ve been successful in have been hands-on type of activities. Sometimes I get a little bit of ADD going on… sometimes I get bored easily, other times I’m content doing not a whole lot.
Re-reading all of this I sound like I might be coming off as a bit condescending. Quite the contrary. I’m honestly one of the nicest, genuine, sincere people you could meet. I’ve got kind of a goofy, dorky personality thing going on. I like to have fun all the time. Kind of a sarcastic personality sometimes, but all in good fun!

One of my favorite things to do is check out new restaurants or bars. I’m not much into the club scene but you might find me in one a few times a year. I like most types of music, primarily alternative rock (no Rap). I’m an avid runner, and took up the weight lifting thing a few months back. I love road trips… or just driving around headed nowhere, listening to music. I like quiet dive bars and jazz bars-the kind where you can hear yourself think, as well as have a conversation. I love going to baseball games.
