About Me
So these things should be called impersonal ads instead of personal adds cause how do you seriously sum yourself up in a few paragraphs. It's almost like a work in progress....add this....delete this....rephrase that. All the while trying not to sound like some dork or some desperate tool. Oh, by the way...I was on here for two days and got propositioned twice. I do have some standards...not many...haha...but a few.
I've never had a problem meeting people out and about but figured I'd give this a shot. If for nothing else, just to meet some new and different people. If there is some sort of connection then great...we'll see where it goes.
So far this site has been pretty entertaining.
Activities: I'll try anything once and if I like it....welll.... I'm an adrenaline junkie!
Interests: Thats the problem....I'm interestd in so much stuff but I'm not all over the place. Make sense?
Things I miss: - Lost time that could've been spent with friends and family who are no longer here. - Sunday dinner at my grandparents place. - My mom's cooking. - My nieces and nephews when they were small. - Not having a care in the world.
Favorite Music: Depends on my mood so the spectrum is pretty broad.
What am I listening to: Skream and Pendulum - best Dubstep ever Depeche Mode - when I'm feeling nostalgic Deep Dish - late nights when I'm recovering on the drive home Theory of a Dead Man and Throttlerod - when I'm packing out and need to get my ass movin. Chris Botti - no better way to fall asleep Pitbull - best sh*tever to break it down to Pandora Radio - mutiple stations depending on my mood at the time Tool - 10,000 Days - best album ever!
Favorite TV Shows: The Honeymooners....greatest show ever! I love a lot of the old black and whites and watching reruns of The Dukes of Hazzard. Actually, I get rid of cable every summer just because I don't have the time. I miss watching the Cubs make a run for it each year but I keep up with them online, compliments of the internet connection for work.
Favorite movies: Too many too list but here are a few.
The Notebook - yeah I creid....remined me so much of my granparents Big Fish - seen it over 100 times Point Break - I AM AN FBI AGENT! Full Metal Jacket - When I need to get really pumped up. Super Bad - Never laughed so hard in my life! oh, one scary one - 1408 Marley and Me - I should have been warned about this movie.
Favorite Books: Reading my journals (the story of my life). I read a lot of technical stuff for work and I keep up with a lot. I have a large collection of personal books I intend to read and I find new ones everyday. If I read a book and it is just incredible, I'll usually leave it somewhere with a note that says, "I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did."
Favorite Quotations:
Every passing moment is just another opportunity to turn it all around.
I found this one the other day but I'm not sure who wrote it. Life is a school for angels so do your homework well. Death is simply graduation.
A friend of mine had a trophy wife once....too bad she was a third place trophy.
About Me: I'm full of contradictions, really random knowledge, and many talents. Overall I'm tend to be pretty laid back and it's rare for me to get stressed out.
- I like to drink milk and juice straight from the carton because it tastes better that way.
- I'm not opposed to having breakfast for dinner.
- I'll never own a riding mower unless i own 5+ acres of land. Pushin my mower around is the best exercise ever.
- If you want people to respect you then you better be worthy of their repsect and you better damn sure respect yourself and never compromise your beliefs.
- Under NO circumstances can you feed any of my dogs pepperoni.
- I had my tarot cards read and it said I was destined for great success but then I already knew this.
- I can sometimes be difficult to understand and my life tends to be complicated but that is mainly from a small number of people that I allow to remain in my life.
- I say y'all and after a few beers and the right crowd my southern accent can get pretty thick.
- I enjoy the peace and quiet of an empty house and sitting on my deck late at night while listening to the crickets sing.
- I love the smell of fresh cut grass.
- I used to work on a dairy farm and I have seen some pretty disgusting stuff. I actually got to deliver a horse one time....that was amazing! I've helped perform a c section on a cow to deliver a bull calf
- I'm fascinated with art.....all kinds.
- I can drive a 10 or 13 speed 18 wheeler like you wouldn't believe and can operate all sorts of heavy equipment.
- I work two jobs (used to be three) that are in no way related so life can get real crazy real fast.
- For my job with Miller I walk a marathon every weekend during the summer. From Saturday am til Sunday pm I walk close to 26 miles.
- I like to travel as much as possible when time and circumstance allow. I love anything pertaining to the outdoors and I stay pretty active.
Top 2 places I will see before I die: Maldives Rio de Janiero, Brazil
- I've got three dogs (2 boxers and a pit mix) that make all the crazy days seem that much more bareable. They have helped me through some of the toughest times of my life and I know I would have gone absolutely insane without them. No matter how bad your day is they are always happy to see you!
- I have found that depression diets are the best. You ever want to lose 10lbs real fast...that is the way to do it. I finally reached my goal of 185 and have maintianed it for over a year.
That's all I got for now....anything else...just ask.
