Hi. It's early November and it was a gorgous day today; after all the lousy, cold, rainy weather the past few weeks today is a godsend. I was out and about enjoying a little afternoon walk and realized that today/tonight would be a great day to share with someone special...if only I had her in my life right now. So I had the crazy idea to try online dating (again - I have tried before but with mild to little success, obviously since I am still single). Maybe it will work? I would enjoy getting to know you better. I am 32; I am 6ft 215lbs short brown hair and hazel/green eyes. I work part time and I am going to UMKC graduate school full time. I don't smoke but I don't really care if you do. I do drink casually/socially. I enjoy going to the Nelson Atkins and Kemper museums; I like to walk around and enjoy my surroundings and the weather when it is pleasent; I love all kinds of music but I'm pretty out of touch with pop music (Sometimes I watch or listen now and then just to ear what is out there and then I usually want to cry so I retreat to my CDs and records); I am quite the fan of going to the movies and I always welcome other fans of the cinema into my life; I love to cook and to go out to eat. School keeps me fairly busy but it would be great to meet a new girl to hang out with, go eat with, get coffee or tea with, watch movies, go to the art museums, or just walk around before it gets bitter cold. I did not grow up in KC, so while I have discovered many things I love about KC I am still finding new cool things (so if you know of any hidden gems you like to share pass it along). I am a pretty sensual person but I do not like just random one nighters or flings with girls I do not want to know outside the bedroom... I enjoy and want romance (I know lots of guys are not looking for that but I want to find someone to enjoy little things with and build on more than just physical intimacy). I am hoping to find a girl with a great smile and warm personality. I love to laugh and I am a bit of a smartass, so if you are too then even better. I like sweet, kind-hearted, girl next door types... I'm tired of "the ones you date" and I want to find the more serious kind (you know, the "kind of girl you marry"-I'm not looking to rush things but I am serious about finding a great girl). I like to talk with a date so going to a museum and looking at art and then out to eat or just a casual drink or coffee and desert would be great. I am believer in who I am with over what I am doing.
