I'm looking for a partner who would enjoy sharing some of the many pleasures that life has to offer. I've been single for over a year now and am feeling ready to meet someone again. I'm a single mom to a bright and energetic seven year old, so it is important that you like spending time with children. I am a warm person and can often be found laughing. I am open-minded and intellectually curious and am hoping to find a partner that shares those traits. Some of my favorite pass times are reading fiction and watching films. I do enjoy cooking (Thai and Indian in particular) and seeing live music whenever possible! And I like wine-tasting although I will certainly not claim to be an expert. Probably my greatest passion is travel -- I was to Scotland and Ireland this past spring. Best highlight of the trip was a hike up Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh at dawn on May 1st for the Baltayne festival celebrations. I have washed my face in the dew on the mountain and legend has it that I will stay young looking all year! I visited Barcelona at the end of July and enjoyed seeing the amazing architecture.
