Alright let me hit you with a couple of facts about myself:

1. I moved to the DC area from Boston a little over a year ago for a job, and while I miss The Bean insanely...I genuinely enjoy DC and everything there is to do here. I work for the U.S. government and feel so lucky that I actually enjoy the work I'm doing. I hope to stay in my field for a while...at least until I don't enjoy it anymore.

2. As for the Boston thing. I am your typical Bostonian chick. I am loud, sarcastic, chatty, and I will fight to the death on why the Yankees suck and the Red Sox are awesome. I'm also 100% Italian. I talk with my hands, drop random Ital phrases from time to time, and pretty much don't go to any Italian restaurants ever...because that food will never compare to my mother's. With that, I'm extremely close to my family and friends back home--would seriously do anything for these people b/c I know they would do the same for me. : )

3. I have an awesome dog. Well actually no, he is terrible. He is a 9 month old half Jack half pug with far too much energy, and possesses a strong desire to chew absoultely everything in my apartment. Seriously everything. The only catch--he is the cutest dog on the effing planet so he gets away with murder. I know...I'm such a sucker and I have defintely forfeited any chance of being the "Alpha Male" of my pack...but I can live with it.

4. Other things I enjoy: going out in DC/VA. I work a lot during the week so I definitely like to have a good time come the weekend. I love to try out new bars, but also like visiting my regulars in Midtown and Clarendon. But I mean sincerely that I will try anything new at least once. I really enjoy watching football all day on Sunday...obviously the Pats are the number 1 priority, but any game will do. I also play kickball in DC. And uhhhh, I don't want to brag or anything, but I'm a pretty badass shortstop/bunter. Oh and my team went 8-0 this past season. Holler.

5. Family Guy is my favorite show in world. I own all the Dvds and I can probably quote any episode on command. So what if it's borderline pathetic and weird??? It's such a phenomenal program that I just don't care haha.

6. Overall--I'm super laid back. I don't like drama. I'm just looking to hang out with some genuine people that want to have a good time!!!

Honestly, I have no standard routine when it comes to a first date. If you want to meet a bar and have a few drinks, or grab some food, or perhaps some coffee--then fantastic. I'm down for whatever. I know that all chicks say that, and then get furious when you don't take them to the fanciest restaurant on earth. But I swear--I totally mean it.
