Ok .. some brief info since I'm new here (will update as needed) ... born/raised in OHIO .. love my OH teams (well, it's more like a love-hate relationship) - Indians, Browns, Cavs, Buckeyes .... unfortunately, they always seem to break my heart (don't get me started on all the years of heartache!) Went to SoCal after college and spent over 15 years there .. then FL in '01 ... I love COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON!!!
Want to know more???? Well, read on (if you dare) .....

I'm looking for someone real and truly ready for a relationship with one person. And ONLY ONE .. I do not see/date multiple women .. if I'm with you, then I am with you only .. and we will see where it goes together .. and if you are interested in dating several (or more than one) at a time then I am not the one for you - don't expect me to make you a priority if I'm only an option for you! (If that just confused you, you might want to re-read it.) I am as real as you will find .. no nonsense and no games. And I gotta say .. all the things you women complain about in men .. trust me, many of y'all are guilty of the same things (lol) ... and for the one's that share rather revealing pics in skimpy bathing suits, lingerie, etc. for the world to see .. sure, it looks nice .. but chances are, you're probably attracting the wrong guys for all the wrong reasons!! (duh!) Do you really think that is necessary to sell yourself?? (plus, it's probably just not a good idea .. but maybe that's just me being a little old-fashioned.)

So you might notice that I will speak my mind. Like many people as we get older, I have been through some live changing moments .. that means I have learned things through life's experiences that really make you think about life ... and learn to really appreciate the things that are truly important in life. Let me sum it up this way ... if you are familiar with a famous ESPY's speech by JimmyV, he says if you do these three things every day ... Laugh (enjoy life's fun and lighter moments) .. Think (spend time in real thought) .. Cry (emotions that bring you to tears) ... if you experience those three things every day, that's one heck of a day!!!

ME ... I think it's important to do the right thing all the time (even when no one is watching). I've never been married (no kids too) - I guess I just never found the right one but I still believe she's out there. I try to be optimistic but tend to be somewhat realistic .. the glass isn't half empty or half full - it's twice as big as it needs to be. I do believe in love at first sight (instant attraction) but that doesn't mean that I'd get married anytime soon. I guess I have a little hopeless romantic at heart in me.

I believe your personal life (family, friends, fun, etc.) is more important than working 60-80 hrs a week and not having the time for those things - life is too short! I'm a simple, honest, good-hearted, spontaneous, casual man with a good sense of humor. I love a party - but I like quiet, quality time with that special someone too. I like dogs, movies (home or theater), comedy, Jimmy Buffett and the outdoors (golf, beach, roller coasters, etc.) and I am very passionate about the things that are important to me. And by the way, I attend church regularly and am very content with my relationship with God. I'm a Leo .. I think that explains a lot in itself.
My favorite movies: Caddyshack & Animal House (but I think Serendipity and Ever After were good movies too). There are so many good movies .. and I love watching them. How about you?

I tend to be very logical and "think things through" and have a low tolerance for lack of common sense, stupidity and people who feel the world owes them something .. if you want something, get out there and make it happen with a little hard work. I do have some other dislikes ... such as dishonesty, drugs, smoking and rudeness .. no compromising here!

YOU ... I'm looking for someone 35-50ish (no matter what - just be young at heart!), intelligent, stable (emotionally & financially), down to earth, fun, attractive (yes, at the risk of sounding superficial, I think physical attraction is important) .. I love a girl that looks good in jeans! (must be the country in me) Sure, I could stand to lose a few pounds and I'm working on that. And if you've read this far, then you might have noticed that I have a lot to say .. and you're one heck of patient person and listener. We both have pasts .. and I know I'm not perfect nor do I expect you to be .. but I do expect honesty, integrity and just try to be a good person.

Listen ... let's not over complicate things nor waste each others time .. at least any more than I already have. I'm a better talker than typer. How 'bout we talk and maybe meet at a Chili's type place over a beer/drink and get through this a lot easier. It should be a short and sweet rendezvous .. if it's meant to be, we'll know it!
