Hey my name is Mike - so what to say about myself...
I am a big reader. I started with Fantasy novels for a few years and moved onto more classic literature; currently reading Ulysses by James Joyce.
I enjoy working out, I train for strength and power, not as much a "Body Builder" I lift for practical and applicable strength. As well as Martial Arts, I've been involved with Traditional Japanese Jujitsu for the better part of my life. I've recently rediscovered bike riding. Lately, anywhere I go, I'm on my bike.
I love to cook, most times there isn't anything else I'd rather be doing then putting something together in my kitchen. It is by far my favorite pastime and sitting down to a great home cooked meal can't be beat.
When it comes to movies and music I like a good or maybe not so great comedy. At one point I was very much into horror but I've been really let down my the genre present day has really let me down. Music, I typically listen to whatever is most aggressive. I hate when people list out 100 favorite bands So I'll just say Metal and good old hardcore. However, I can get into some Billy Joel and lighter stuff just as easy.

I love being out, travel, restaurants, museums, a good bar or lounge. I very much like to experience things and new places. I love to laugh and have a good time. I'd prefer to keep a smile on my face as much as posible.

I'm not a traditional dinner and a movie first dater. Dinner is great, I love to eat. But I would rather maybe sit for a drink after, hit a museum, park, mini golf if we can find it or just go for a cup of coffee. Anything but a movie on a first date.
