| | So, the key here is to not write too much, but not too little. Impossible! I love writing, and this might end up being long.
I am looking for an honest friend, companion, lover, partner, and soul-mate—in that order and all in one person would be a plus (wink).
I would like to be with a man that loves me for who I am, and I would love him for who he is. I don’t wish to be changed, and I don’t want to change him. Mutual respect for each other’s personalities would be ideal. I am not perfect, and don't expect you to be so either. Perfection is boring.
I am med. size (only a few lbs over--not bad, but I want to be honest here--well proportionate. This depends on who is looking. I am comfortable with my body.), active, healthy, 46, single, very sweet (been told I am too nice a million times), politically to the left, non-religious, a people person, work for a living in an academic field, and like to let my hair down with the right person.

I am not into casual sex. Too blunt? That's because I have the tendency to say what is on my mind. I hate playing games. Head-games are for cowards. I don't dole out fake compliments, so when I do give one, it's real.
Non-cig-smoker would be a plus--or at least realize it is unhealthy and try to quit. Reasoning: If I like you, I don't want you to die of lung cancer, plus I don't want to suck in your second-hand smoke either. Social drinking o.k., but not out of control drinking.
