I am an easy-going, fun-loving person and I'm looking for someone to have fun and enjoy life with. I have a great group of friends, but I have yet to meet that special someone so I thought I would give this a try. I'm typically attracted to laid back people who aren't afraid to laugh at themselves and be silly. If you can't laugh at yourself, then who can you laugh at? I love to go out and have fun on the town with friends, but I have to admit that sometimes I just want to stay home and watch a good movie. During the day, I like going on a hike or out to brunch, or maybe go to a park with a blanket and read a book. Family means a lot to me and I am extremely fortunate that we like to spend time together. One of our favorite pastimes happens to be wine tasting and I'm always amazed at how many cool people you can meet over a good glass of wine. I currently work in the medical field and love all things science, but I don't require that my significant other share the same interests in that area. As long as you have some ambition in life, that's all I ask.

One last note that might save you some time - I'm not that into guys who post modeling pictures or pose without a shirt (unless you're at the beach of course). I appreciate a guy that can just be natural and attractive without trying so hard. :-)

I definitely think the first date should be kept light without too much pressure. It's all about having fun and getting to know each other. It doesn't have to be fancy, because I don't think that's an environment where most people are themselves.
