I learned many years ago that "the most important things in life are invisible" so in order to see them rightly, you must look with your heart. I am an utter romantic but I read a lot and keep both eyes open along with my heart. I love being outdoors, and I spend quite a bit of time in the Caribbean. I love gardens, woods, mountains, long drives to explore small towns upstate, art museums, jazz and reggae, chocolates, gelato and keeping physically fit (so I can work off that gelato!) I hike, kayak, ride my bike every chance I get and go to the gym at midnight when no one is there so I have every piece of equipment to myself! My absolute favorite place to be is on a beach. And the only way I can know anything that is worth knowing is through a direct and honest approach. I am the woman who loves to cuddle, rub your shoulders when you're tired and cook you dinner. I enjoy a glass of wine while dancing around the kitchen. Give me a little salsa, and I can whip up a dinner and homemade dessert to share. While I enjoy the excitement of getting to know someone new, the real deal is in the every day rituals and I am a realist who would love to find someone who would enjoy finding the beauty in the day to day stuff --cause anyone can fall in love on a vacation.

I would love to do something active --weather permitting a bike ride, hike, kayak or wine tasting. In cold weather, I like walking around a Natural History Museum and talking while looking at the fascinating exhibits and seeing what we both like. There is something for everyone there so it's a great place to go on a first date.
