I like taking my time to walk through museums, bike rides(even though I don't currently own a bike), going to parks and painting, singing, trivia, movie nights, game nights, watching TV, turning off the TV and reading, driving fast with the windows down and the music loud, road trips, water slides, amusement parks, beach volleyball, shooting hoops, the Lakers, Bruins, Dodgers, and Chargers(I grew up in SoCal), throwing a frisbee around, buying new CDs and listening to them over and over to let them sink in, song lyrics, playing with kids, feeling like a kid again, taking candid photos, new socks, cuddling, breakfast anytime, meaningful quotes, one liners, laughter, hugs, family, friends, Christmas, eggnog, lights, fresh air, encouragement, optimism, smiles, sharing, beautiful melodies, the sound of waves crashing, sunny days, starry nights, loud rain, the smell of campfires, being content, faithfulness, righteousness, modesty, giving without expecting anything in return, forgiveness, back scratching, worship, fellowship, intimacy, honesty, perseverance, letting go of the past, not getting lost in the future, but living today with purpose.

I am looking for a smart, funny, adventurous woman who has lived life, learned from the past, has a vision for the future, but wants to share in the present. You have a zest for life and like trying new things, but your wild days are over. You have an education, maybe a career, but know that there is plenty more to learn and it is normal to not have it all figured out. You know what you want for the future, but can adapt to the inevitable changes that come along. I am ready to settle down and eventually start a family. That being said, I would like to be together for a couple of years before getting married, and married for a couple before having kids. You need time to experience life together, get over some bumps in the road, grow together, and form deep bonds. Being married with kids is not easy, so why not get off to a good start. A solid foundation is needed to build a life together. Also, call me old fashioned, but I will not live with a woman before I am married to her. I have done this twice before, and it is a recipe for disaster. You can build close bonds, and learn much about a person without living and sleeping together. Why not wait, so that it can be a special gift with love and devotion included.

I have to add that my faith in God and my relationship with him is very important to me. I would like to meet someone who shares that same faith. I have dated women who did not, and it has never worked out. I am done settling for anything less than a partner who will absolutely adore me, challenge me, encourage me, grow emotionally and spiritually with me, and want to share a life that is deeply rooted in faith.
