Hi guys. I am looking to meet other high quality men to get to know, date and with the right one for me, build a long-term relationship. I was involved in a 15+ year relationship and learned a lot from the experience. It ended about two and a half years ago. I am now ready to move forward. I am values based, blessed with a great family and close friends, affectionate, self-aware and aware of others, honest without being hurtful, romantic, relationship driven, smart, fun and funny, passionate and compassionate, politically moderate, hard working/goal driven, getting back into working out and doing charity/volunteer work, love animals especially dogs, have a spiritual focus, enjoy some TV shows (if you loved 6 Feet Under and are a current fan of Nurse Jackie, then that is a good start), enjoy all kinds of music except crap (oops,I meant rap) and metal, like movies that make you think, laugh and cry (if you saw 500 Days of Summer or Juno then you get what I mean), enjoy travel from spontaneous road trips to California coast wine tasting to NYC to Europe, and am a sucker for a good massage, a good kisser and a 5 o'clock shadow or well groomed facial hair.

A first date ... hmmm. I would do something that requires interaction and where time is not a critical factor. It would alsobe soemthimh my date would obviously enjoy. A hike and then a picnic after hiking in a secluded and pretty spot. A day at an amusement park. A dinner and outdoor concert. Taking your dog and or my dog to the dog beach then going back home and making lunch or dinner.
