Ok Here goes…………Like most here, I have gone through some pretty steep ups and downs in life. Currently, I am in a major transition stage and after an extended period of drama and finally see light at the end of the tunnel. As such, I am definitely Not looking for long term, I admit that I am not ready for that (still working on my transition).

I like brains in a woman and the ability to roll with the punches, someone at ease in a black tie event as well as more “rustic” accommodations. My knowledge of sports (football, baseball etc) is rather limited. I like to participate in sports (running, skiing), but spend more time following the stock and real estate markets and watching CNBC than watching sports and ESPN. I can replace a broken hot water heater, and read financial statements, but do not know where the Yankees are in the standings.


I do not wish to complicate your life, but compliment it. I am well mannered and easygoing, and open minded. I am not clingy, rude or obnoxious. I open doors for ladies and know the words please and thank you. Also, I do not use any drugs nor am I a drunk, and have zero tolerance for such behavior. However, I do enjoy a great meal with a bottle of wine or a couple of beers at the local pub. As I said above, I am coming out of a rough period and would like to get back into dating again. At one point I was engaged, but fortunately it never came to fruition. From all the profile I read here, most of us here have inherited scars from live.

Like most on here, some place where we can talk. Weather over coffee or a drink, it does not matter. Although a physical attraction is important and often the first thing that draws attention, it is the chemistry and mindset that determines if there is more.
