I'm an independent (but loyal), family oriented, caring, creative soul that has successfully passed his mid-life crises and is ready to enjoy life ahead! I am a dedicated, hard-working engineer, but also enjoy playing music in a weekend rock band. Separated and soon to divorced, I'm looking forward meeting new friends, and perhaps even find a friend and soulmate to share all that life has to offer. I love music (listening, playing, performing, even writing), tennis, working out at the Y, dining out or in, and would love to travel more (Europe was grand this past summer). I also believe that open communication, honesty, and compassion are the foundations of a relationship, and I guess I'm also a bit of a romantic and believe there is still a place for chivalry in this world.

A first date could be anywhere, but a place quiet enough for us to both listen attentively is important to become fully acquainted. A relaxing, quiet restaurant, sharing a bottle of wine, with smooth conversation, could be a great start, perhaps to put a smile on your face and see if we share a chemistry.
