Well, i just moved to Newport News a couple of months ago from Davenport Iowa. Economy sucks and no jobs around there, so my uncle contacted me and helped me get a job at the shipyard, so i am here now.

I am really into bowling, i bowled on a league for six years, but haven't had the time to bowl lately :( . I am huge guitar hero and rock band fan since i have big fingers and can't play the real guitar, lol, but those are pretty much the only video games i ever play. I am not big into the whole bar/club scene since i partied too much in High School and worked at a bar/pizza place in Iowa. I haven't really been here long enough to find out what kind of cool things there is to do around here, so if anyone has any suggestions, i will gladly take it!

My goals right now are to go back to school and hopefully get into the apprentice school that the shipyard offers. I want to learn more about my career as a Machinist and the apprentice school will do just that! Other than my career goals i would also like start a MEANINGFUL relationship and maybe one day start a family.

What makes me unique is that i was able to live over seas for a long time and i got to experience a lot of different cultures and see a lot of things that most people will only dream about being able to see. I am very thankful for the opportunity that i got to travel around and see the things i did.

As far as music and movies go, i listen to mainly rock and metal, but will listen to pretty much anything except for pop, not a big country fan either but i can tolerate it. I love movies, i will watch anything! Horror movies these days are starting to disappoint me though because they are too predictable and not scarry :(

Other than that, i am a nice, honest guy hoping to find someone who thinks outside of the box. Ladies, there are good men out there, you just have to give them a chance!
