I'm a proud, devoted dad to two lovely young girls. I have a great career as a teacher, and I'm happy, and content, and at peace with the way my life has taken its various twists and turns.

And yet...

Something is still missing. I've been divorced for the past 5 years now, and that's a long enough time alone to know that I don't really want to spend the rest of my days alone. Life is short, and our chances to reach out to someone else--to make a connection, and to love, and to feel loved in return--are fleeting. And I guess I'd just like to find that again. To have someone to talk to, and to flirt with, and to go places with, and to enjoy a walk with, or a bottle of wine, or an evening together on the couch...

Being alone is fine, as far as it goes. But it only gets you so far. I'd like to find someone to spend some time with, and see how far we could go together...
