I love being a nurse and am pretty happy with my life at this point. My grandchildren give me great joy. Their unconditional love knows no bounds, but of course, in their minds I can do no wrong. I carry no baggage from my divorce of over 13 years and have good relationships with my grown children. I share my home with one very opinionated black cat, named Xena. She’s okay company, but I’m sure I can do better. I’d like to meet a charming, self assured man to share good conversation, a few common interests and maybe some new adventures.

I’m often attracted to a man’s honest smile and sense of humor. He’s probably a sharp dresser too. I like a man who’s confident and has a good work ethic, but he isn’t rude or pushy in getting to where he wants to be. My match is just a nice guy who takes an interest in other people and what they have to say. He doesn’t need alcohol to loosen up or to feel like he’s having fun. I can understand a glass of wine with a nice dinner, but not with every dinner or outing. Deal breakers for me are smokers and somebody who’s married or only separated. I respect a man who loves his motorcycle, but I won’t share his enthusiasm.

I want to be with a loving partner who sees the potential in the world no matter what bad things are happening. He’s smart, successful and level-headed. He keeps a positive outlook and has pursuits of his own that make him happy. I think a couple should cultivate separate interests and not have to be tied together at the hip every second of every day. This way, when we do get to share our common interests, I believe we’re more likely to treasure each other’s company.
I’m a loyal, loving woman who has a knack for being witty and loves to laugh with good friends and family. I enjoy the simplest of pleasures, like the feel of sand beneath my feet, snuggling under a blanket during a storm, watching a fresh snowfall and receiving somebody’s tender touch and soft kisses.

Call me old-fashioned, but the man who wins my affection might find himself being spoiled rotten. I love to cook and share a nice dinner over a glass of wine while relaying the events of the day. I'm not one for heated confrontations, but prefer to talk out problems and differences. I’m not looking for a man in my life to complete me, but I am looking for a close relationship where respect, trust, admiration and love are equally shared in earnest.

I’ve traveled to Bolivia four times on medical missions. I’ve also been to Mexico and Jamaica. Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, is my favorite. I’d love to go to Italy and Sweden. I also have Mackinaw Island on my list.

The foods I like include sushi, steak, pizza and my own homemade lasagna. I love fine dining, but also continue my quest for the perfect burger. Morton’s and Meson Sabika are two favorite restaurants. Favorite TV includes CSI and Law & Order.
