I am looking for someone I can trust and then someone who gets my jokes - either order. But when I say jokes, I don't mean knock-knocks, it's sort of music, literature, and pop culture references and wit. From a work perspective, I enjoy helping others succeed and better themselves. Personally, I love to entertain and bring people together. Entertaining is one way I express my feelings for people. I love to cook! I enjoy traveling internationally and learning about other cultures and blending in with them as much as possible. I just got back from Turkey in Oct. I try to travel light - carry on only. Once you have earned my trust, I am intense with loyalty and respect. And on a lighter note, I love my tv and my dvr. I love HBO although I have recently downgraded my cable, "Chuck", "Lost", and movie and reading marathons. I love to bike or go the gym and just hang out. I find I often need a little time to myself to recharge, which is exactly what my leisure time is for. I also like to have friends over. I love the sun and in the summer can be found on my rooftop at the pool. Many long weekends are devoted to the beach, although this summer I trained for a 199 mile running relay -- 12 women, three legs each.

A first date through this site? Well, I think coffee or drinks is a good start. Eventually, I like music, comedy clubs, movies, dinners out, kayaking, biking, and gym time, although ideally I'd like to find someone who is comfortable enough that time spent at home would be just as okay. Particularly, if I/we can entertain other friends with dinner and drinks.
