I am kind and passionate about what I believe in, namely human rights. I would usually root for the underdog.

To me, some things in life just need to be appreciated like, sheets right off the line, swimming in the moonlight, fresh snow that sparkles, getting caught in a downpour, a spectacular sunset/sunrise.

Music? Yep, it's important. I'm a fan of the old rock bands and some of the newer ones. (Genesis, Pink Floyd, Kings of Leon, Metallica, ACDC, 3 DG, & Elvis.)

Bottom line: I work really hard and I do hard work...so, a soft place to land is what I am looking for. And, I am also not opposed to a long term committed relationship if that's where things end up for us.

I love ethnic food (especially curry) and love to cook...... I am fine with you cooking too, of course.
Red wine seems to be my weakness (Publican beer isn't bad either for that matter).

I love to laugh and have a very dry sense of humour. So if you can make me laugh, I'm all yours!

In my spare time, I paint, cook, camp, fish, swim & enjoy my friends and it would be helpful if you enjoyed some of these.

And, most importantly, a house is not a home without pets....this is my non-negotiable.

For the purpose of this site, I am certainly not opposed to emailing and chatting for a little while to start out but, for me, the idea is to actually meet people in person and decide whether or not to continue. I should mention too that I'm not all that keen on a lot of facial hair. Some women absolutely love it so don't take it personally.
