To a causal observer, I'm a fun-loving blonde. To my friends, I'm a engineering nerd and I love it that this is who I am! I like going out and being social, AND I like learning about soil chemistry, pryolysis, and a host of other scientific topics, including math. I have been known to turn the conversation to string theory, partial derivates, or other such topic, and not be at all apologetic.

For relaxation, I enjoy hiking, playing with my dog, traveling, and art. I love looking at art and at various times in my life I have done a lot of art. My current artistic outlet is cooking and I especially enjoy baking and then eating!

In life, I strive to be part of the solution, instead of part of the problem. I believe if I am not willing to work on changing something, then I have no right to complain about it. I'm looking for same: A fun-loving, social guy, who genially enjoys being around people, enjoys meeting new people, and who loves science and who is motivated, and walking their talk. Right now, I'm mostly interested in meeting new people and having some nice conversation and laughs.

A first date should involve coffee! A great date would involve some artistic event, talking with someone about their preferences and responses to different art is great fun and always interesting.
