Alright, so this would more apply to a time when I am actually staying in a place for more than just one night. I usually distinguish between regular and exceptional first dates. A regular first date would be to take a lady to a nice place for some drinks or depending on the time of day for dinner. On a first date, I usually don't move passed the 2 hour time line to give the lady some room to decide whether she wants to see me again.
