1) Right now my hobbies are kind of up in the air. I used to ski, bowl, drink with friends, hike, travel, read, volunteer politically, and a million other things. I just moved halfway across the world twice in a year, started a new school/job, and am rather busy just trying to catch up and adapt to my new surroundings. As things start to quiet down, I'm attempting to figure out what my new hobbies are. My old hobbies involved my old friends and old town, so I can't just pick them up again unless I meet new friends with similar interests.
2) I want to finish graduate school and go on to teach and do research in a University. I want to be happy. I want to be a good person. I think that's really about it.
3) I study organic chemistry. I read history books, political books, and legal books for fun. I am always thinking. I don't sit still well. I am nervous, quiet, and just generally awkward in large groups. I'm outgoing and obnoxious in small groups of friends. I don't like any form of food from water, except occasionally shrimp as long as their is****ail sauce. I always forget to eat my vegetables. I absolutely hate the taste of beer. I love watching college sports, but I also think every college athletic department should be immediately shutdown and the funds wasted on entertainment should actually be invested in education. I always come off as either arrogant or completely and totally insecure. The truth probably lies somewhere in between, but for some reason those are the only two impressions people seem to get.
4) I like lots of music. 90's alternative is probably what I listen to most. I also listen to modern country, some more recent alternative music, some 80's music, and of course the Beatles.

Holy crap. Now I'm on the spot. The last first date I had I took the girl to Macbeth at my university. I had to go for a general education class, and I didn't feel like going alone. That was a long time ago. I guarantee I wouldn't do that again, but I'm not sure what I would do. Wow, it looks even worse on the computer screen than it sounded in my head.
