I'm your typical down-to-earth woman, always treating people with respect and honesty. I'm the type who's great at settling into a rhythm... until I decide to shake things up. For me a perfect Saturday night is hanging out with friends. I like to meet new people and gain new perspectives. I tend to be the first one to try anything. Do it first, think about it later. I like an even balance between going out and getting crazy...and staying in and relaxing.
I have a very philosophical view on things these days. I believe that people act/react to their surroundings in response to other events in their environment. By that I mean that while we think we meet people "by chance", we are actually drawn to those people for some unknown reason that doesn't become clear until a later time - either when we realize there's a deeper connection or when we realize the lesson has been learned.
I like to view the world with the same awe that children view the world, although my view is clouded with age. I still see the beauty in the wind blowing through the trees. And I still hope that tomorrow will be a better day for all of us than today.
I've recently returned to school. I am currently working on my A.A. in Life Sciences. My long-term educational goal is to transfer to UMSL or SIUE where I will major in Biology. I'm a science nerd and my favorite TV show is Naked Science on the National Geographic Channel.
I have a strong passion for music. I mostly listen to hard rock/heavy metal but I can handle just about anything except rap with obnoxious lyrics.
