I am fun, smart, a great friend, and I love to laugh. Have many different interests and passions...I'm an educator who believes that play and humor must be part of learning, I'm madly in love with improv comedy (was in a troupe years ago) and now travel the world teaching how to integrate improvisation into the classroom and life.

So while I love to teach (and make people laugh), I also love to listen and I love to learn. I guess you could say I love to create conversations.

More passions: I'm a political person—progressive and independent - but not dogmatic. (Oh, I hope I'm not dogmatic!) I like to talk ideas with people - whether it be culture, politics, education, etc.

I grew up in NYC and have always liked it, but in the last year or so I have fallen in love with it. I love the food, the energy, the diversity of people figuring out how to live together, the hilarious things you overhear on the street, the parks, the stores... One of my favorite things to do is to discover new places to get a drink and a bite to eat. I also love to travel and I can move easily between lying immobile on a beach and exploring interesting new places. An unreasonable fantasy of mine is to see everything in the world before I die.

I am looking to meet and get to know a man who is social, decent/responsible, interested in the world and, (need I say it?) funny--or at least who thinks I am funny.

Have coffee or glass of wine - or we could talk and walk - or maybe hear some music at East Village dive!
