Hi! How is it so hard to meet cool people?! I think they should offer high school for grown-ups or at least maybe "home room". Anyway, we all say it. "I'm not gonna get online to look for a relationship! Are you nuts?!" But guess what? Here I am! I'm sick of waiting for love to "bump" into me as I run down the beach or ride my bike, or live my wonderful life solo, so I am going to try and bump into it. A go-getter, as they say! ;)
I love to get out for a good day in the sun, whether it's riding down to San Diego or laying out on the beach with friends, beer, and boogieboards. I am originally from AZ, and being outside without your face melting off is a rarity, so I really try to embrace and appreciate it. I just started running again in order to stay trim because all my cycling wasn't getting rid of my belly! Can you believe?! Gawd! Well, I found that while I must look like I'm running from the cops or the Border Patrol, I really am beginning to enjoy it and just recently did my first tri. Uhhh, notice I din't mention the swimming? Uhhh, yeah. That is because I suck. If we date and you ever want to leave, just swim to the other end of the pool. Job done! ;) Anyway, 183rd in my first swim and 4th on the bike pretty much proves the hypothosis. I play a little tennis and love a good walk through a big city. Luckily, I work in an industry that encourages me to be an outdoorsy guy, and I think I might be in the best shape of my life because of it. I would like to continue on that theme because it feels good and it keeps life interesting. I would really love some good comapany to share all the stuff I see though. It would be nice to get a different opinion, you know? What would be even cooler is to share a run or a ride with someone who is into it as well, and enjoys my company.
I have a great job in the cycling industry and I am currently thinking of returning to school in order to change that "some university" to a check mark for finished. Perhaps nursing as I think there is a good future in it.
Everybody says I'm one of those "funny guys". I border on sarcasm but am not mean, unless I like you. Then, it is like hair-pulling in 1st grade! Seriously though, I tend to use a lot of references from back in the day, like Sigmon and the Seamonsters, and stuff like that to be funny. It usually works, but not always! :) That's ok because my mouth is just big enough for my foot, so it doesn't even hurt when it goes in there and I'm pretty used to it after 39 years.
I am an '80s child, through and through. Metal, Duran Duran, Depeche, the Smiths and the like. I like SOME new music but not much. I'd rather dance to tranz than Fergie and I love my friends although I dont have many here yet.
I'm looking for a good person in a woman, somebody who doesn't mind messing up the kitchen with me or get on me because I prefer ice cream to frozen yogurt. I know what Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are, but I still like a good old fashioned burger more often than not. Just get a good policy on me!

I don't do "dates" well, I don't think, and would much rather share the space of a nice person, hopefully a woman! I share great stories with the best of 'em. I think that's what chemistry (besides looks and vibe) is all about, kindness, sharing, and hotness. So, my idea of a first date would be to do something chill. I enjoy coffee down by the beach and maybe sitting out and watching kids play on the swingsets down there while talking about all kinds of things and getting some insight. Politics and religion don't scare me one bit. The more fervor a conversation has, the more satisfied I feel. I love doing breakfast too, because you can just be. Nothing to prove and no false BS. Just eat, and visit, and smile and laugh, you know? Get egg and spinich stuck in your teeth and the whole bit! ;)
The SECOND date is where it gets really interesting. Maybe out for a glass of wine and some conversation? Maybe some dinner, or a long bike ride if that's your thing. I'm open. I'm not really trying to be cavalier because this stuff actually means a whole lot to me and I am a hopeless romantic. But, I also believe you can try too hard and ruin what could be a great thing.
