Hi! My name is Ali :)

Currently, I'm finishing up my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and History at Elmhurst College.

I'm a pretty energetic and optimistic person, and I'm always looking for fun things to do. I like to go out and have a good time with my friends, whether its watching movies, going for walks, or doing karaoke in a bar somewhere. I like to go out and get my dance on every once in a while, even though I'm a terrible dancer! But honestly, it's pretty funny to watch me attempt it.

My current goal in life is to survive my last year of college, then to get a job hopefully as a full time teacher but if not, I'll settle for subbing or being an aid. . . Then I want to get a dog, hahaha.

I like to watch movies, go for walks, just hang out, listen to music and sing. I like pretty much any type of movie (as long as its not horror) and I like a wide array of music, from 50's to Shakira. I'll listen to pretty much anything. . . just not polka :) Some of my favorite artists are: Kelly Clarkson, Sara Bareilles, .38 Special, Death Cab for Cutie, etc. The list could honestly go on for days.
I also don't mind watching sports. I like hockey a lot mostly because it's the most violent haha. Otherwise, I like football, baseball, and soccer. I don't mind watching Lacrosse either. I don't really follow any particular teams, but I still like to watch. I'll also play sports too, provided the person I'm with doesn't mind me making a fool of myself haha.

I really want to find a girl that I can go out with and not be afraid to totally embarrass myself with, someone who likes to party it up but then can be fine laying around watching a movie and cuddling.

I don't mind getting together and just going for a walk and talking. I also wouldn't mind going and having a few drinks, going to see a movie, etc. Or going downtown, having some drinks, and dancing. . . Honestly, I'm really a person who is up for anything (unless its skydiving. . . I have an insane fear of heights!)
