I have been divorced for 6 years and have reached a stage in my life where i am Happy with where I am so I would like to establish some roots and finaly settle down. I have moved extensively within the past 4 years and am glad to now call Vancouver Island home. I am a fairly laid back person and try to let my off time from work be a time of relaxation and rejuvination. I enjoy traveling and try to do one or two trips per year, a warm tropical beach is my favourite, but a drive into the mountains works just as well.

I would not call our first meeting a date more of a getting aquainted meeting to see if there would be any chemistry and that can only be done by talking, so I guess a coffee at a local restaurant or a walk along the water would have to do.
As for a first date, that would need to be special so time will tell
