I am a guy that loves technology, a geek at heart. Some would say I'm an intellectual, other\s would say I'm a sarcastic smart alec. I never know what my personality is going to be from one day to the next. I could be hyper and goofy one day, serious and witty the next. I think that adds a bit of mystery to who I really am on the inside. To solve a bit of the mystery, I am a romatic at heart, I am generous to a fault and try to go out of my way to make my mate happy. I have an ability to sense when something bothering the one I am with and do what I can to cheer them up. I have a sense of humor that I would describe as a collision of Jim Carey, Robin Williams, and a touch of George Carlin. I believe sarcasm is the one of the best forms of comic relief, especially if the one i"m with is equally sarcastic and quick on the come backs. My humor can also go towards the cheesy and corny. Even though I try to bring humor into just about every situation, I can also be serious when it is called for.

I am tired of the typical dinner / movie first date. I would like to try new things. A hike in the mountains, a walk through the park, visit an art museum, things people don't normally do. Sure, dinner / movie dates are great, however, twoish hours in a movie theater without being able to talk can be awkward when you don't know the person your are sitting with.

I guess for a first date, I would love to make it a whole day event. Start with a late breakfast, followed by a drive into the mountains for sightseeing and lunch, and end it with a quite dinner at a nice restaurant.
