I have a variety of interests and am always open to learning new things. I've spent the last 13 plus years raising 3 children as a single mother. My 2 oldest are away at college and now I have more time to think about my needs and what I want to do for the next half of my life. One of the things that has been lacking is someone to share my life with as a life-long partner...that is what I am ultimately looking for. Although I am happy when I am alone, I would prefer to have a partner to experience together all the beauty in this world.

I'm a bit on the liberal side so if you are someone who is critically left, then please do not respond to me. I, although liberal, see myself as much more middle of the road when it comes to politics. I support Obama, but I believe in the right to bare arms.

I am pretty open to any kind of a first date. A long walk, a bike ride, a quiet dinner. Anything where we could get to know eachother a little in order to see if there should be a second date.
