I moved to San Antonio a few months ago from Pittsburgh. Mostly to escape the snow, but also because I fell in love with this city the very first time I was here about a year and a half ago.
Here’s the deal, like most other people, I have had my fair share of relationships. Obviously, none of them have worked out because here I am. I am extremely hesitant to start a relationship, but I feel like it’s time I stop closing myself off. I used this website once before, met a nutcase, and was like, “No thank you!” to Internet dating. But it’s a Catch-22 because then I am out and have given my number a few times, and suddenly I’m being stalked. So, I’m switching back to this for safety reasons, hahaha.

Just so we’re all on the same page, there are a few things I am specifically NOT looking for (no need to waste anyone’s valuable time here!)
1. Eating unhealthily all the time.
2. Depending on me to drive you around everywhere.
3. Racism of any kind. And, excuse me, but being drunk is not an excuse for saying racist comments. That is actually worse!
4. Consistent laziness. There’s a time and a place for it, just not daily.
5. Playing video games for more than 2 hours a day, every day. You’re a grown man. Video games rock, but not for 6 hours a day, every single day. That’s just weird.
6. Short men. Look, it’s not your fault I am 5’8”, but honestly, I like tall men. And by tall I mean at least 5’10”

I need someone who continually impresses me. I love men that have passion. Whether it’s for football or photography or music… whatever! I can only relate to people who consistently have a fire burning inside them for something. Ohhh I love when people have a specialized skill in something, especially if it’s something I would never be able to do that you can help me with, lol. My life outside of work consists of music, writing, reading, and art. I love the Steelers and Penguins. I love live music (bands and DJ’s), I love music in general. I just went to the downtown library to get a library card and was blown away at the size of it, so I will be there very frequently. I’m very big into psychology and I love the work of Carl Jung. (If you know anything about him, I am an ENFP, that’ll give you more insight into me). If I had to have two celebrity crushes, they are Anthony Bourdain and Larry David. ROFL. Yes, I know they’re both over 50, but I am so in love with their skills and personalities and passion for what they do, I don’t even care about their age. Hahaha. I have cable but I really only watch CNN, the History Channel and the Travel Channel.

I don’t like chain restaurants; I would rather sit at home in total darkness for 8 hours than go to a Chili’s or the Olive Garden. There are so many dope, independent places to go, why why why would you go to one of those? If that’s your thing, more power to you, I just don’t dig. But I’ll enlighten you to the good spots! Ha! I love going out to see films, but I also have Netflix so I stay in to watch them, too. I literally watch anything and everything. The last three films I watched were The House of Yes (coworker insisted I watch it, that was, uh… odd), The Good Girl (weird) and today I’ll be watching Pinocchio (ba-zing! I love those old, creepy Disney cartoon films). The book I am reading now is the biography of Dr. Seuss.

Look, clearly I also talk a lot. Verbal communication is vital to me. I also like laughing a lot, tattoos, piggy-back rides and having a super great time. I also think it would be cool if you spoke Spanish because I really want to improve on mine. I am scared of bugs, heights and trying to merge onto the Texas freeway in rush hour. I’m not sure if I want a boyfriend, but I’d really like to meet someone who “gets” me.

It depends on who I'm hanging out with and what we have in common.
But, I think the absolute best first date would have this attribute... We're both having so much fun that we don't want the "date" to end. Right?? =)
