Hello! I guess something about my pic made you want to know more so I hope I can give you a good idea in my completely non-objective profile! :-)

I'm a fun, extroverted, adventurous, outdoorsy, downhill ski-loving, professional woman in the aviation industry. I'm separated (not recently) and a mother of two wonderful children. Despite being busy, I recently realized the importance of carving out more downtime for myself and doing activities that I enjoy with people I enjoy. I love life, trying new things, and exploring new frontiers. I'm happiest outdoors and despite having travelled to some pretty amazing places, my favourite place on Earth is my family cottage on a pristine lake back east. That being said, Vancouver is a pretty close second! :-) And, of course there is Whistler and ski season is just starting!

On my list of places to see: Egypt, India and Ireland. On my list of new things to learn: flying a plane, scuba diving, heli-skiing, and sailing.

My taste in music is diverse -- from U2 & Coldplay, to The Eagles and The Police, and of course Jazz & Classical -- and I enjoy going to concerts. Saw Coldplay/Snow Patrol (amazing) but regrettably missed U2. I'm not a big TV person (except The National and The Hour...OK, and maybe The Tudors) but love movies.

Are you a like-minded partner to join me on this amazing journey? Nothing too serious right now...just lots of fun, laughs and a little romance would be nice. That being said, you never know what might happen so I'm keeping an open mind! You would also have to be easy-going, kind, active (especially outdoors), smart (or just plain witty!), self-sufficient, open to trying new things, love kids but already be past that phase in your life.

I hope I'm not asking too much but I know there is a special someone out there who is all this and more.

I want to get to know you first... Let's grab a coffee or a nice glass of wine and chat for a bit or go for a seawall walk. Nothing too heavy!. Let's have fun. If we connect, we may have to go skiing sometime!
