I am one busy guy! It seems every weekend is a new adventure or activity. I love to cook and there isn't one kitchen gadget I don't own, visit with friends, travel, see new places - and often combine everything into one trip. I am gregarious, but at the same time I turn off the phone in the early evening. Since I work from home, and have no office mates, I am ready for some human contact by the weekend. They certainly know me in the wine country! I'm wired to be in a relationship - it is where I do my best. Oh yes I'm plenty happy alone, but I just do well in a relationship. I am extremely monogamous and expect the same from my mate. I want to spend my time with someone, not just know they are available. My life and my activities, as well as yours, are for us, not for when it happens to work. I am complex. I can't paint. I can't play an instrument. I can sing, and I can write. I have millions of questions. There is no social scenario you can put me in that I can't fit and somehow connect with people. I have long ago conquered the business world, top of the heap, and not shy to go toe to toe with any captain of industry. But now I am out of that and enjoy peace without having to be the alpha dog. I ride. I boat. I fly. I journey. I make things happen. If you enjoy the sofa...you may not be the right person to share time with me. I only drink decaf. And I have no idea where I will end up. May not be in the US. I've been to forty countries and know my way around, and I know there are options. I don't do drama - period. I don't have mean people in my life, or negative energy. No turmoil and no issues.

About me

I think it is important to have the evening free - no looming commitment that hangs over your head and keeps you distracted. Then get together for a simple glass of wine at a place where you can talk as long as you like - not some noisy place where they may rush you to leave. Even better is to be in a location where we can honky-tonk, wander from place to place and enjoy some variety. But again - it's about sharing information and learning about the other person, so wherever it may be should be laid back and quiet enough for that.
