My attitude towards sports was summed up nicely by Ernest Hemingway: “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.” Now, I did watch every football game on TV in the fall of '72, but I also watched every soap opera -- I had both arms and one leg in traction, so there really wasn't anything else I could do. Life is too short to spend weekends glued to a TV set. Tip: SuperBowl Sunday is a great day to hit the parks.

I'm a reformed adrenalin junkie, once obsessed with speed. I used to race anything and everything. I've broken nearly every bone in my body at least once. No one every notices, as long as I've got my clothes on, but sometimes I appear to walk "funny". That hasn't stopped me from doing anything I wanted to do, including skiing and rock climbing. I'm just not as "extreme" as I used to be.

I quit drinking long ago and don't enjoy "the bar scene" -- drunks, noise and smoke aren't the basis for a good time. I don't mind if you enjoy a glass of wine, just don't drink the whole bottle. I prefer a much quieter, relaxed setting. Give me an environment that encourages conversation, please.

I have had some success with my photography and I enjoy landscape and nature shoots best of all. The photos of me are a few years old -- I've lost +40 pounds and my face isn't so round. I'm back to the same jeans size I wore in college (w00t!). The other shots are some of my own, taken with two different digital cameras.

I love to kiss, cuddle, stroke and pet. I've been told that my hands work miracles. A physical connection with my partner is important to me, but your wit and intelligence come first. I must know your brain before I meet your body.

My interests are pretty broad, so I only gave broad categories under "Interests". I think we can use that as a topic of discussion, when we meet. What's the Boy Scout Pledge? Thrify, Clean and Reverent? Well, two outta three ain't bad. I'm open and honest about myself, so email me and I'll answer truthfully.

Deal Breakers: I'm allergic to cats and cigarette smoke, so if your life is filled with either, or if you're deeply religious, we aren't compatible. I was born correctly the first time.
