I'm a 64 year old retired librarian with a zest for life, and a sense of humour. I am financially independent and love to travel. I've lived in St. Catharines since 1970 and am socially involved with many people through groups I've belonged to over the years. I am interested in music(play cello in the community orchestra) and the arts, love NFL football, and am a very social person. I have fun pretty much doing anything. Am I unique? Everyone has special qualities, and because I'm an extrovert, mine show up fairly quickly. I'm honest, unselfish, compassionate and reasonably quick-witted. I love board games, cards, keeping fit. I'm still very much the mother and grandma and adore my 6 grandchildren, even though only 2 of them live close by. I have had many interests in life, from growing up on a race-horse/hog farm in Alberta, to living in AZ and Texas in my university years. I love the outdoors, fancy restaurants on special occasions, a good 60's-70's band for dancing, any kind of music, really.

I would probably like to go for a walk, then stop in for a coffee at Tim's. Or vice versa. I have a dog who loves the dog park, so that might be an option. It is a bit uncomfortable meeting someone for the first time if you haven't had some sort of a connection ahead of time--some emailing or telephone conversation would probably take care of that, right?
