I am endlessly searching for "the one". Could you be her?

I am 44 years old, 5'10" tall, 225 pounds, big yes, but very muscular. I have very short light brown hair (1/4" short in fact). I usually have a thin goatee or well groomed thin beard (5 o'clock shadow kind) and thin moustache. I have never been married, although I came close about 8 years ago. I have no children of my own, but I do love to spend time with my nephews and neices (and my friends' kids) whenever I can. I live alone; own my own home. I live just north of Allentown near Jim Thorpe.

I am a very adventurous person and I like to joke around a lot. Sarcasm is in my blood. I spend a lot of time doing little adventures whenever the weather permits. A typical day off for me would involve me floating in my pool for an hour or 2, followed by a workout in my gym, or mountain biking to the Lehigh Gorge, then late day kayaking at the local lake. I also like to travel to ocean beaches all throughout the year, but mostly in the summer. I spend many a weekend in oceanfront hotels all along the east coast. I also fancy myself a good photographer and I document all of my adventures with plenty of spectacular photos. I also like to attend live music events whenever my favorite bands are playing and that's quite often in the summer. I also enjoy visiting my family and sometimes just staying home and cooking in and having friends and family visit. I also like modern art. Frankly, I am getting tired of doing these things by myself or with my friends. I want the company of a special lady to share in our adventures. Is this too much to ask for?

I have no angry ex's, no enemies, no police record, and absolutely no drama in my world. I have many friends and I live a simple life. I am hoping to meet a sweet lady who has time to spend with me and get to know me and grow with me. I want to start out as friends, doing some fun adventures while getting to know each other. If it develops into something more than friends, that's great. Ultimately my goal is a long term relationship with someone whom I adore. I am a firm believer that one can accomplish so much more when they're in love. It brings out the best in a person.

The lady I am looking for should be near my age, not smoke cigarettes, drinking is ok as long as you're not drunk every night :) ... I would also prefer someone who likes to take care of themselves physically... someone who likes to workout and someone who would like a workout partner. Together we can push each other to get in "tip top" shape.

You should know that I am a very affectionate person. If I feel you deserve a hug or kiss, you're going to get it whether it is in public or not :) I do not expect anything more than a chance. Therefore, if I have contacted you, please give me that chance. There is so much more to see beyond my rugged good looks (stop laughing) :)

As far as sports are concerned, I do not live, eat and sleep sports like some men do. I do enjoy watching boxing, motocross, gymnastics, surfing, Xgames and I am a big Phillies and Eagles fan.
