Now the tough part... telling you about me
Well I have been on this site before and hope that the next time I leave, it is for the right reasons. My past time on this site has brought me to realize not all people are created equal, but most people are good people. I did make some good friends and met some interesting individuals.

Now I am suppose to tell you about my hobbies...well as you can see I have a wide variety of interests & I always like to try new things & go to new places. My main hobby is any time spent with family. Also writing is a strong passion of mine. I have done a fair amount of traveling & hope to do more. I enjoy all levels of hockey, enjoy snowmobiling and I look forward to the upcoming Olympics. I love long conversations that lead into the wee hours of the morning and really serve no purpose other than to share opinions, & hopefully much laughter.

Now what makes me unique... hmm the fact that I am me & I don't try to be someone other than who I am. I like to cook, take my dog for walks, read, go the movies, dine out, stroll through a gallery or museum and much more. To me curling up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn & a movie can at times be as enjoyable as going out for the evening. While I express my thoughts & feelings freely...I also have a quiet somewhat shy side. I love laughter, romance, and truly believe that dreams can come true. My tendency is to be selective in who I meet & allow into my life.

My goals & aspirations... Well eventually I will finish my book & have it published. I would like to visit the East Coast of Canada & see more of my home Country, Beautiful Canada. I will continue to live my happy life.
I am not looking for someone to complete my life I am simply looking for someone to share some time with...then who knows... guess you cross those bridges if you come to them. Friendship can lead to many things.

I truly believe that communication before meeting is important. It will help to ease some of the nervousness of that first meeting. If all goes well then the first date can be planned & that will be exciting.
My ideal first date would be to do something that we have talked about & something that we both will enjoy...whatever the event ... it is the person you are with that matters most.
